Beyond the familiar ritual of Moroccan mint tea, MENTHE ENIVRANTE draws inspiration from a more confidential tradition once practised by the Moroccan royal family, who enriched their tea with ambergris. At the opening, an overdose of the absinthe plant - known as “chiba” in Moroccan Arabic - brings a striking aromatic freshness. Moroccan mint essence extends this sensation before meeting the sophisticated, slightly animalic warmth of a mineral amber accord. A vibrant hot-and-cold contrast, at once fresh, enveloping and deeply intoxicating. A fragrance in constant motion, evolving on the skin between freshness, tension and warmth.
